With a lifelong passion for art and design, Vena brings creativity, precision, and professionally trained craftsmanship to every wallpaper installation—creating spaces as unique as the people who live in them.
My Wallpaper Gal was founded on a simple belief: walls have the power to transform the way we feel at home. What started as a love for beautiful wallpaper has grown into a trusted, women-led business known for exceptional craftsmanship, personal service, and unforgettable results. We work with homeowners and designers across Greater Houston to bring their visions to life — one wall at a time.
Hi, I’m Vena, a native Houstonian and the founder of My Wallpaper Gal. I graduated from Sam Houston State University with a BFA and a double major in Advertising Graphic Design and Photography, giving me a strong foundation in color, composition, and design.
Before specializing in wallpaper installation, I spent more than nine years as a faux finisher, helping homeowners transform their spaces through decorative finishes. I later apprenticed under Steve Wood, one of Houston’s most experienced wallpaper installers, learning the precision and craftsmanship I bring to every project today.
At My Wallpaper Gal, every installation is approached with an artist’s eye and close attention to detail—because the right wallpaper can completely transform a room.
Professional, seamless installation with attention to every detail.
