Artistry deserves a thoughtful finish.
Hand-painted wallpaper brings a distinctive sense of artistry to an interior. Delicate brushwork, layered color, and subtle variations give each panel its own character. My Wallpaper Gal works with Houston-area clients planning installations of these decorative wallcoverings, with the material and its individual requirements guiding the conversation.
A hand-painted design often deserves to be treated as a complete composition. Birds, branches, blossoms, or architectural details may extend across several panels. Their relationship to furniture, moldings, and openings should be reviewed before installation. Clear photographs and the supplier’s panel drawings help identify where the artwork will be most visible and where interruptions may occur.
Because products vary, it is important to share the exact manufacturer, substrate, and installation instructions. Delicate surfaces may have specific handling, adhesive, and cleaning limitations. Natural variation can be part of the material’s intended appearance. The goal is to understand those characteristics rather than promise that an artisanal surface will behave like a conventional printed paper.
For an estimate, include your project location, wall measurements, product information, and any supplier-provided layout. Let us know whether panels have arrived or are still being commissioned. This service focuses on installing hand-painted wallcoverings; if your project calls for artwork painted directly onto the wall, describe that separately so the scope can be clarified. A careful conversation at the start helps protect the design intent.
